Job Description

The Systems Administrator is responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.

The Systems Administrator role is a 6 month contract opportunity. Temporary employee may be considered for full-time after 6 months. Local candidates strongly preferred but remote work may be considered for qualified candidates.  This is a 1st shift opportunity with working hours from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time.  The position requires on-call support and may include occasional off shift or weekend work.  Qualified candidates are expected to be self-starters, capable of reviewing the existing infrastructure and making recommendations for improvements.

Job Requirements

Expert level knowledge of Windows Server 2003-2016

Expert level knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, etc

Expert level knowledge of MDT, WAIK, and unattended/light touch OS deployments

Experience with designing and administering managed desktop environments including, but not limited to: File and Folder Redirection, Offline Files

Roaming User Profiles

DFS configuration and administration.

WSUS administration and patch management best practices.

Familiarity with DirectAccess and VPN technologies.

HP Proliant server configuration and maintenance.

Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

Exchange 2013 administration is a plus.

Familiarity with iSCSI SAN environments (HP Storevirtual administration is a plus).

Automation of routine tasks through scripting (Powershell, Puppet, etc) is a big plus.

Bachelor degree with a technical major and three years of applicable experience, or five to seven years of continuous applicable experience.

Technical certifications are a plus (MCSA: Windows Server, MCSA: Windows 10, VCP6-DCV, etc).

Veeam Backup and Replication experience a plus.
